Privacy Policy — Easy IPTV

Easy IPTV is designed to respect your privacy. In short: we collect no personal data and host no content. Easy IPTV is a media player for an IPTV service that you provide yourself. The only thing the app ever sends us is anonymous usage statistics, described below — and you can turn those off.

Data we collect

No personal data. Easy IPTV has no user accounts and no login, and we do not use any advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.

Anonymous usage statistics (optional). To understand which features are used and improve the app, Easy IPTV sends us anonymous usage events (for example: “the player was opened”, “the EPG guide was opened”) and, when a playback ends, how smooth it was (video format, frame rate, how many frames were shown and how many interruptions there were — in broad ranges, never what was playing), together with the app version, device type (iPhone/iPad/Apple TV) and the country configured on the device. This data:

• contains no identity: no name, no email, no account, no advertising identifier (IDFA) and no device identifier (IDFV). A random identifier, created locally on first launch, is used only to count devices. It is kept in the device keychain, so it survives reinstalling the app; turning statistics off stops it from being sent.
• contains no content: never your provider's credentials or URLs, never playlist contents, never channel or title names, and never what you watch.
• includes purchase milestones (a free trial started, a subscription charged, auto-renewal switched off, a one-time purchase) with no amount, no receipt and no transaction identifier — only which plan and whether it followed a trial. Payments themselves are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.
• is received by a server operated by us that does not store your IP address or user agent, and is never shared with or sold to third parties.
• can be switched off at any time in the app's Settings (“Share anonymous usage statistics”).

Data stored on your device

Everything the app remembers stays on your device — and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your own private iCloud key-value storage. None of it is ever sent to us. This includes:

• The credentials and URLs of the IPTV provider(s) you add (Xtream Codes account or M3U playlist), used only to connect your device directly to the provider you configured.
• Any program-guide (XMLTV/EPG) URL you add, or one your playlist declares, used to download the guide directly from that source.
• Your preferences, favorites and “continue watching” history (which channels or titles you were watching and your position in them).
• Your parental PIN, if you set one. It is stored on your device (and your private iCloud) and is never transmitted to us.

Services your device contacts

• Your IPTV provider: your device connects directly to the server you entered, to load channels, films and series. We are not involved in that connection.
• Your program guide (EPG): if you configure an XMLTV guide URL, or your playlist supplies one, your device downloads it directly from that source.
• The Movie Database (TMDb): to fetch posters and metadata for films and series, the app may request information from TMDb. This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.
• fanart.tv: the app may request additional artwork (such as title logos) for films and series from fanart.tv.

These requests carry only what is needed to fetch artwork, metadata or the guide (for example a title identifier or the URL you configured). They do not include any account or identity information about you, because the app has none.

Content

Easy IPTV does not host, provide or supply any channels, playlists or media content. All content you see comes from the provider you configure.

Children

Easy IPTV plays unfiltered streams supplied by your provider and is rated for adults. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
